The Pickin Cotten Band Consists of two people, Mike Neal and Cecil Cotten. I write all our material and handle all vocals. Mike arranges and plays lead guitar. He also plays bass and any other instrument we need. We sometimes will have a guest musician join us. Usually it is a musician friend we've known for awhile. We record on a 16 track recorder. We try to keep things simple. After four decades of playing we are finally in a place to devote a lot of time to our music. Our music is not complicated. I try to write good melodic sing a long songs. I think we have captured something everybody would like. Give our CD "open 24 hours" a listen and if you like buy one!!! Cecil Cotten
