spacious (3d's david saunders) 7" track

hello 3d's friends,

here is a song i recorded on my 4-track a while ago with alan haig (chills, verlaines). Its called 'riding the whale' and ended up on the 3d's album 'strange news from the angels'. i hope you like it and watch out, i will post some other stuff every now and then.     The 3d's recently played in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It was the Merge XX concert series and we were invited to come play (The 3d's signed to Merge in 1994 after touring with Superchunk and becoming friends. These shows took place in July, 2009; 12 years after their last show. The reviews were very good, we all had a great time and we are hoping to play some shows in the southern hemisphere early 2010...     Oh geez, just let me know when this is going to happen and I will be there. I'd fly anywhere in the world to see you guys. I got to see you once in Melbourne and still think it was about the best thing I have seen. Stay strong and do this!
