  I saw them live in 1987 in Milan, for the "Force" tour, and my ticket number was 0001! I still keep it :-)

  One of my favorite bands, they're still playing, but I would love to have seen them in the early 80's amongt that vibrant Manchester scene. Who else has so successfully combined post punk with so many worldly influnces? The subject matter of "Shack Up" is beauiful in its ordinarieness,of marriage and life exectations that don't allow for much beyond.

  definite heroes of mine. one of the first acts on Factory Records. lucky enough to see them live a few times in the mid 80s. awesome live.
