Many people think ATFC is a group, and considering his success you’d be forgiven for thinking so. ATFC is one man, Aydin, with three UK top forty hits, a successful independent label Onephatdeeva, a full on DJ international DJ schedule and a reputation for consistently delivering quality remixes.
This is music master that has cemented his position as one of the all time classic house DJ’s.
Production wise, ATFC has lost none of his lustre in fact he has experienced a renaissance of late with huge dance floor obliterating tunage in the form of remixes of Funkerman and Marc Evans and a cheeky little bootleg of Ame Rej.
It’s well known that ATFC has had three UK top forty hits, played at some of the biggest festivals and clubs around the world during his 18 years as a producer and dj and remixed some the best known artists in the world, like Moby, Missy Elliot, P Diddy and Fat Boy Slim. Described by DJ Magazine “as one of the top …. producers in the world of straight down the line, mainroom house music’ he is one of the industry’s most exciting and consistent artists.
This year it’s fair to say he’s been busy. He’s already mixed the Defected Miami 08 compilation and very recently the Defected In the House – Goa 09 album.
He’s also got three killer tracks recently released Juss a Beat, Praise to the JB’s and Bad Habit 2008 which are all already being used a every DJ’s bullets.
It doesn’t stop there, Aydin has teamed up with the fresh faced and uber talented New York vocalist Yasmeen Sulieman to produce his newest project ‘Tell U Why’ released on the seminal US house label Strictly Rhythm. Already heavily supported by many international DJ’s including Seamus Haji and The Cube Guys.
His recent remix of Dubfire's 'Roadkill' was described as 'verging on genius' by Pete Tong. 'Ya Killin Me' was currently being sought out by all the major players in the house world, and he'd just signed exciting single and album deals with 2 of the most respected labels around. His recent DJ tour of the Far East, Asia and Australia was a huge success with the highlight being the Summerdayze Festival In Perth playing to a crowd of over 20,000 strong.
You’ll see ATFC appearing on Defected, Strictly Rhythm, and Toolroom Records, proving that, if nothing else, the man's more versatile than he looks!
For his own labels, Onephatdeeva and Onephatdeepa, he’ll be concentrating on releasing underground tunes from new & upcoming artists. Released as download only this will enable the label to continue to thrive and achieve what is was set up to do: release music that otherwise wouldn’t be heard.
Aydin is regularly invited by The Academy of Contemporary Music (Europe’s leading school for Rock & Pop Musicians) to lead music production seminars as a guest tutor and he is also a House music reviewer for M8 magazine.
