All the members of this group had known each other for some time but had never had the opportunity to play together. A mutual friend had just become a club manager and wanted to start off with a BANG for a Valentine's Day celebration. She contacted Rick (one of the members) to see if he could organize a "Jam Session" of sorts. Rick agreed and got on the phone calling some of his old buddies. The night of the show was magical. A small club, an impromptu performance and a chemistry that was off the hook! AWESOME POSSUM PROJECT was born! The band decided to stick with it and several years later has evolved into a writing/performance based powerhouse in the midwest. A Possum show is a "Must See" event. With original songs and incredible harmonies it is evident that AWESOME POSSUM PROJECT is destined for greatness!
