Absence of Faith: A dynamic Boston based melodic hard rock band comprised of four very talented musicians. AOF’s influences range from but not limited to Tool to Pink Floyd. Born in 1999, veteran local rockers, James Michael Garrity and Jimmy Saulnier have teamed up with innovative guitarist Ben Carroll and heavy hitting drummer Noel Mackensen to create what critics are calling the next incarnation of heavy rock. AOF’s haunting lyrics and impressive vocals are complimented by edgy but imaginative guitar riffs, intelligent and melodic ear crushing bass and a hard hitting rhythmic back beat.
