Like a snarling wolfman glaring at the full moon, Air Tight Alibi has transformed itself into one of Central TX's best live bands. Combining dark imagery with pop hooks and ferocious screams they have made themselves a pinnacle of the Austin Punk scene. They have been booked with such national successes as Face to Face, Thursday, My Hotel Year, Brandtson, Park, This Day Forward and Dynamite Boy. They were featured at the 2004 and 2002 Van's Warped Tour's in San Antonio TX and also played the 2003 South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin TX. With front-man vocalist, Brady Black and vocalists\guitarists Ty Tyner and Lance Thomas, Air Tight Alibi brings a unique 3 voice attack. Equal parts gut wrenching screams and solid vocal hooks. Add bassist Nick Free and drummer Adam Gibbs and you get a unique mix of melodic hardcore that is sure to leave a melody in your head and your fist in the air. Air Tight Alibi's latest EP, "it will consume you" (Sep 2003) was produced by veteran Tim Gerron at MusicLab Studios in Austin TX Air Tight Alibi has played regularly in and around the Great State of Texas since the Summer of 2000, performing in such Austin venues as, The Back Room, Emo’s, Stubbs and The Red Eye Fly. Air Tight Alibi has also toured through the following states AZ, CA, NV, UT, ID, CO, NM, & TX, and hopes to hit the east coast very soon.
