Blessed with an agile mind that embraces astoundingly diverse styles of music and rejects moral and intellectual hypocrisy, Al Rozz makes non-conformity his credo. Born in 1959 in Toules, France of American parents from Salinas, Puertorico, Ana and Paul named their son Aldo Rosado and he soon used the name Al Rozz for his stage name in music. Hector Lavoe, Ruben Blades and Willie Colon are Aldo's most favorite singers and even though he speaks very little spanish he understands it more than he speaks it and one night while attending a party Aldo sung a song with the lyrics written down from El Cantante and soon realized from the response from friends that to sing in spanish will be his success.
