I really wish Al would consider coming to Atlanta. Time Passages is too incredible! Peter White was just here.
  • I got into Al with "Modern Times" then took a step backwards to discover "Past Present and Future". Leaping forwards again there were "Year of the Cat" , "Time Passages" and "24 Parrots" and I recently bought "A beach full of shells" and heard "Trains" from "Famous Last Words." There is an incredible amount of variety in his output from the early folkish stuff through the 80s rockers and now once again slowing down again in the new millennium. Everyone out there continue to enjoy his music.... More...

I know Manila is not a usual tourist destination - but it might be interesting? In its pure squalor...? And, to tell the truth, I don't know how large an audience could be summoned here... But there would be at least one devoted fan! ;)

  • A.S is brilliant! Sheer brilliance! Absolute CLASSIC, never tire of it.
  • The Night of the 4th of May.....Sheer Brilliance!!! This is my favorite A.S. song of all time! He is unbelievable live! I agree, he is one of the most underrated songwriters/singers over here Stateside...but in a way, he's like one of those Best Kept Secrets! (R.I.P. Richard Wright (Pink Floyd)...We have truly lost one of the Greatest, today!)
