  • All India Radio - Martin Kennedy paintings 1999 - 2003

time lapse super 8 movie footage of me painting a number of years ago. The music is a new All India Radio demo, due for release sometime in 2010. I don't paint much anymore - I lost my painting mojo. Too busy with music!

  • All India Radio rehearsal 14 Oct 09

A short snapshot of All India Radio band rehearsals October 2009. A little rough and ready, but we are playing these songs for the very first time in preparation for recording a new album. We were a lot better by the end of the night!

  • Kilbey Kennedy live at the Toff behind the scenes

A very brief snippet of backstage footage from the Steve Kilbey & Martin Kennedy album launch at the Toff 10 Sept 2009. Includes Simon P setting up microphones while Graham Lee plays something magnificent, and us trying on tuxedos. Look out for the DVD of the night early 2010.

  • Tanelorn Music festival 1981 - Friends are Gone by Steve Kilbey & Martin Kennedy Present

This video is the full length version of my super 8 film of the Tanelorn Music Festival from 1981. The music is 'Friends are Gone' by Steve Kilbey & Martin Kennedy. Bands playing at the festival were The Church, Midnight Oil, Split Enz and many more. This was my first music festival and as a young teenager, I was quite taken with some of the scenery. You might wonder why there is no footage of the bands playing - most of the good bands played after dark and my super 8 camera (being ancient technology) was useless in low light. The bands playing during the day didn't interest me. You can hear more Steve Kilbey & Martin Kennedy Present music and my other band All India Radio here: www.allindiaradio.com.au
