Andrew Thomas has been writing songs all his life, and considers his first "real" song to have been written at about age 12. A year or two later, he had his first "real" heartbreak, and simultaneously discovered a tireless well of song ideas. Coincidence? He has performed in exotic locales like Taipei and Minneapolis. He's been praised as the (figurative, not biological)"Son of Stephen Sondheim," and has jammed with jazz combos, hippie-improv-rock bands, and heavy metal power trios. He's released dozens of cassette "albums," and is now bringing his music to the masses with the debut CD release Young Man's Fancy.
