Angel Pier make a discordant noise through unhinged classic pop melodies. Three parts Irish to one part Canadian, Angel Pier layer looping drums and brooding bass, a confrontational guitarist with severe riff-tourettes & a melancholic vocalist with dark lyrical tendencies. The band are fresh from playing a storming show to a packed Whelans in Dublin at the start of 2009, and are now taking a few weeks out to record some new material for the release of a single and limited 7" in April and will be playing dates across Ireland in April and May. The debut album will follow later this year.
