Hi, my name's Anthea and I've been singing ever since I can remember and writing songs for about 14 years. Song-writing has got me through some of the really hard times and the songs that came out of those are very dear to me.

My songs are mostly about expressing myself - whether it's how I'm feeling at the time or how I think other people are feeling in a certain situation. I think I'm quite an empathetic person and I hope that comes across in my music.

I don't know what genre my music is - I play piano as well as guitar, and my guitar songs are generally a very different style to my piano ones. My influences are hugely varied. In a nutshell I guess I'm acoustic, folk, alternative, and a little bit jazzy.

Here's some recordings of my songs - rough demos recorded at home, but I hope they give an idea of what my music's about.
