Anxiety of Influence was created in 2005 by a group of 20-somethings from diverse backgrounds, and widly varied musical tastes. By 2006, the band had together written at least an album worth of top-knotch heavy alt-rock songs and later that year they had their demo CD, Antecedent, recorded. During the following two years, the band went through some serious growing pains: Their bass & keys player moved to the other end of the country, plus careers, marriages, and other life events all contributed to several breaks in songwriting.
At present (Winter, 2009) the lead singer, Rochelle Ireland, has taken their projects into the studio to be recorded, bringing some of the former members into the studio, and hiring session musicians wherever needed. Expect a complete CD sometime in late 2010!
