Jul 14 2007, 05:02 AMAshley's albums are a brilliant blend of African and Western music. I originally heard her when she was signed to Virgin back in the early 90's. It's great that she's still writing and releasing material independently: The Blessed Rain is one of my all-time favourite albums.
