Audio Violence started a few years back with one purpose...to redefine the Chicago Punk scene. The line up has changed a few times but now it seems like the current one will stick around for a while. With the guitars finally in place and re-addition of original drummer, Knob, Audio Violence was able to release their debut CD "Everything Dies" and start to play out again. With legendary shows that inspire and injure, Audio Violence along with several other local bands are redefining the local scene with a take no prisoners, DIY attitude. The music is what punk should be - unsafe. With guitars like chainsaws, the songs invade you head and stick around like an infection. However their brand of Punk is not a noise fest. Catchy hooks and rhythms to force you to pump your fist, Audio Violence makes you root for punk rock once again.
