Auteur Theory are a UK based house music duo. Joel and Kev began creating music together in around 2006. Releasing albums in many styles they draw on their wide influences from many electronic genres to create songs with strong structures and melodies.
Influenced heavily by artists from the French Touch wave, and also the more chilled UK equivalents they often create songs that move between various moods and atmospheres.
Auteur Theory was formed as a small side-project to fill time in between heavy commitments with rock band Still Existing. However, after the collapse of Still Existing in mid 2008 Joel and Kev shifted their focus to electronic music, and Auteur Theory became the sole focus of their efforts. They have released 2 albums, many singles and EP’s and a hand full of remixes to date.
