The story of VILONA Duo begins from the year 2003, when Olga and Elena have performed recognizable pieces of Vanessa May and well-known Bond Quartet at different Night Clubs. But for Olga it was not enough to play and copy other style of work. Being creative mind from the youth, she tried to express her musician view to the Rock hits of the past. Recognizable pieces of Old rock were accurately rearranged under her creative approach to notes and beats. In most ocassions the musical theme becomes more complicated - is it classical or rock hit. Band is always playing with new sounds and fresh music ideas. Anastasya Gorshenina becomes member of the DUO after Elena quit VILONA. Welcome and Listen up!
Wow, on a Russian site, Vilona denies that Irish Dances is the same song as Over the Hills, even though the arrangement is IDENTICAL to Nightwish...

I think it is sad that they deny that they took this song from someone else. Covering a song is fine, but don't deny that it's someone else's song.

I just saw them live. They "Irish Dances" are Irish in the sense that it's a cover of Gary Moore's Over The Hills and Far Away (He's from Northern Ireland).
But I gotta say, their arrangement, live even more so than that MP3 was suspiciously simialr to Nightwish's arrangement of the song...
