  i was so depressed one day while i was visiting a flea market in orlando because at that time my mother was dieing. while walking around the flea market i heard some one singing it sounded familure, i stopped and listened after the market was closing for the day i went over and read the information on the wall about the lady who was singing, i was so surprised to learn it was barbara lewis one of my favorite singers of my teenage lifetime. my birthday was the following weekend so i decided to... More... i was so depressed one day while i was visiting a flea market in orlando because at that time my mother was dieing. while walking around the flea market i heard some one singing it sounded familure, i stopped and listened after the market was closing for the day i went over and read the information on the wall about the lady who was singing, i was so surprised to learn it was barbara lewis one of my favorite singers of my teenage lifetime. my birthday was the following weekend so i decided to make a wall wreath up for her because i feel it is wonderful to give, no matter how small the gift may be. the next weekend i took out the small gift told barbara it was my birthday and i had made her something, she was such a gracious lady, even if she did not like the wreath she said thank you and gave me the biggest gift i had ever gotten from any one, she sang hello stranger to me. she gave me a hug and said thank you i will use this gift and i appreciate it. she signed a photograph for me. i left after a small glance back to see if it was all real and not a dream. i never saw her again but god let me have one lovely moment that i felt important and special and i never had before. thank you god for that moment and for the last year you gave me with my mother before she passed away. thank you miss lewis for a moment i will always treasure----love a true fan----lawrence
