I started off as a fan of BJH:s early 70's albums but later realized that the 74-78 period was my favorite. John Lees and Les Holroyd are two incredible songwriters but I find Woolly Wolstenholmes songs to be superior. Songs like "When The World Was Woken", "Beyond The Grave", "Ra" and my personal favorite "Sea Of Tranquility" are just amazing!

"Suicide?" is the perfect end of "Octoberon", the perfect album. Most of the other 70' stuff are great, too. But then it comes to an end for me...

Favourites everyone? I'd go for: Galadriel Titles Play To The World The Song (they love to sing) Hard Hearted Woman Poor Man's Moody Blues Moongirl Giving It Up Sweet Jesus Mother Dear The World Goes On Song For You I must admit I do like Les Holroyd's songs a lot more than John Lees'...
