  Went to the Paris gig, not in Pigalle but rue Oberkampf ;). Barry was a Maestro. A real GENT, as always.

  went to the awesome pigalle gig last nite, fantastic! it was alot like the place ron burgundy played jazz flute in..was a bit woried barry would wallow in his jazzier work. was proved wrong when he started with my fave, the glorious 'still i rise'!... i believe, in an attempt to let the guys still eatin thier dinner that this gig was gonna be real..

  Great gig in Bristol, Mr Adamson was in fine form & the band are shit hot. The set was mostly the very fine new LP, though there were some oldies - a highlight including Jazz Devil & a great closing cover version of Sly & the Family Stone's Thank You...a song Magazine used to do! My only complaint is Barry & band could do a mean version of Set the Controls for the Heart of the Pelvis, & wouldn't it be fun if they played a Magazine song in that style?   No idea why it's not listed above, but Barry appears at The Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh on Tuesday 1st April. Can't wait!

  I love this guy, would like to see some more videos online though.....<hint> Long time ago i have seen 2 or 3 videos when MTV2 was young but they have grown old and boring. Barry simply rules! Can't wait for the new album!!
