  God I love his music....i just wish that i can see him in real ...for a concert. But im heading back to Prince Rupert, B.C. dunno if he'll be that way ?? I hope so. Love you Ben. E. King !!!

  The most amazing singer and song writer for a generation, celebrating 50 years in the business and still going strong. The nicest, warmest, funniest person you are ever likely to meet and i have met him on numerous occasions over the years and consider him a true friend.

  Yes, I have met Ben E. King on a few occasions, and he was definitely a true gentleman in every respect. I couldn't agree with you more, Misty. There aren't many people like Ben E. in music. Ben E. was considering recording one of my songs at one point. Unfortunately, it just didn't happen. I tried releasing my own cd, and lost my shirt (I did sell 78 copies of which I donated all sales to earthquake victims). Still, Ben E. was a very positive and kind person. That would be fun! But as music has left me with nothing with debts, I think for now I've got to focus on taking care of the family.   I've been a fan for years. Got the chance to meet Mr. King once and he was the nicest guy. Wish he would tour more.

  Has anybody got a hatred for Sean Kingston... Thats what makes me cry at "Stand By Me" the fact that hes ripped it off. I could go on but there are no words that can sum up how annoyed I am and how much I hate that damn "Beautiful Girls" song.
