  Was fortunate to attend the Austin City Limits taping. I went to see 95-year old blueman Pinetop Perkins perform, and was glad I stayed for Bettye's booty-kicking show! This woman (and her phenomenal band) was unbeatable. It was inspiring how her band didn't try to copy Drive By Truckers (BL's studio band), but captured their own dynamic soulful sounds as a three piece.
