  One of my best memories was the day I just happened to be passing through Boston from NY on my way up to NH and remember sitting on a park bench reading the Boston Phoenix, waiting for a bus out of town. What did I see in the paper? An ad for Big Country's first US appearance in something like 10 years. At a mall in Cambridge. IN ONE HOUR! I quickly hopped on the T and got there just as they started playing -- on a boat in the middle of a pond at the mall. They kicked some serious ass. Most p... More... I just remember the power of Tony Butler's bass most of all. And the new songs were awesome. Turned out to be the Buffalo Skinners tour. Saw them at the Grand in NYC during the official tour. Best show ever. Got to meet them all backstage afterward and am very grateful I got to meet Stuart. Like all of us here, miss his voice and writing greatly.

  I saw them in York when I was about 17,it would have been when why the long face was out, they were amazing. Steeltown is my fav album.
