Big Hammer is currently a studio project between Jim Jenness and Wendell Cox. Wendell Cox is back out on the road as Travis Tritt's guitar player (which he has been for about 12 years) and Jim Jenness is a veteran musician, perfomer, songwriter living in the Jacksonville, FL area. Jenness is currently the manager and engineer at Made In The Shade Recording and Production Manager at the Freebird Cafe. Together Cox and Jenness have recorded nine new songs and are slowly unleashing them upon the world. Ranging in style from Classic R&B/funk to Rockin' Blues with a Southern Rock twist the influences are many. But the sound is distinct.
