BlockBastards formed in Sweden,Stockholm, 1998 as a result of simple love for music, frustration 'n dissapointment in music scene of today. This is a union of four guys who refuged the horror of war in Bosnia & Herzegovina...the "real" refuge was found in music...in BlockBastards. Together, as familia, we started raising hell in Stockholm underground scene where we delivered the whole bunch of high energetic live shows (mostely club gigs), and distributed our music on the Net at the same time as we gave our demo tapes to everybody - for free, with intentions to spread the word and increase the number of BlockBastard familia crowd. Since then, we've contributed on the compilation album "Tre Års Slit", with our "Can't U C" tune, and released four demos : 1. ”Roll Over...Hangover” - 11 traks 2. ”***** (Five Stars)” - 11 traks 3. ”Live At Homegrown” - 6 traks Live 4. - and finaly ”Mouth Full Of Glue” - 6 traks of rebellion masterpiece.... The simple line up of drums, bass and two guitars makes it a lot easier to deliver loud and attitude based music with a lot of heart in it...no bullshit, just pure stuff. Lyrics are just the result of our view on everyday human events, and things like politics, conflicts, byrocracy, life struggle, hard work, ideals, instincts, love issues 'n so on... BlockBastards are : Bender BlockBastard-drums, Nicky BlockBastard-guitar, Core BlockBastard-guitar 'n backing vox, Dizzy BlockBastard-bass 'n vox... We know who we are, what we're up to, where we're headin, what we want 'n where to get it...We are BlockBastards 'n we are here to stay!!!
