Bonnie Raitt rocks!
She is my hero.
Saw her a couple of years ago at the Montreux Jazz Festival and i was standing right in front of the stage in awe of her guitar playing and her wonderful voice.

I actually got to collect union dues from Bonnie when she appeared in Syracuse, NY while I was attending SU way, way back in 1979 - and singing every night in any bar or joint that would allow live music. She is, hands-down - the very BEST example of r & b and soul out there today BAR NONE. And, incidentially, the best slide guitar player living (besides Joe Walsh!). Every time I listen to her play slide I think about Lowell George - my other greatest influence - and remember the days when Warner Brothers was a label with a huge blues family --- oh, and I really miss Freebo, too. I agree with Mr. Kopp - Bonnie - when ya playin' NYC? I'm bettin' there's a BBKing's date in there SOMEWHERE@@@@@$#$$%$%%$^&
