We have unfortunate news to report. Someone very dear to the Boulder Acoustic Society family has passed away within the last week. Due to these circumstances, we have collectively chosen to take a break from the road to reflect and morn with our loved ones.
Our immediate North West tour will be the only dates affected. This is includes all of the following shows and festivals:

• Shows that the Kailin Yong Peace Project will be playing in BAS’ place.
We will do our best reschedule what we can for late October. All of the CD Release events are still on as scheduled. Please keep checking back with us periodically to get more info. We apologize for any inconveniences but thank you for your sympathy and understanding.

2) On October 3rd Kailin is presenting a concert for world peace at Swallow Hill, here are the details:
This concert showcases the music of Kailin's new CD "Bowing with the Flow" and features many guest performers including Middle Eastern master percussionist Souhail Kaspar, musical missionary and speaker Cameron Powers, composer and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Manno, world music and jazz clarinet/sax player Dexter Payne, and enchanting bellydancer TAKA.This concert honors the spirit of tolerance and friendship inspired by the late Daniel Pearl, and serves as the debut of the Kailin Yong Peace Project as well as the release of Kailin's new CD. Please come join us for this magical evening of world music towards our musical mission of peace and celebrating Daniel Pearl World Music Days!

Hey Everyone,
We're looking for reviews and testimonials about our live shows in the past two months. So if you happen to have stumbled in front of a pair of loud speakers pumpin out some BAS love this summer, please write us back with your thoughts about what you experienced!
Also, on Wednesday, October 1st BAS will be in KBCO's Studio C at 8pm (Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins 97.3 fm). There will be free merch opportunities if you listen in!
