Any occupational title that invites immediate comparison to Guy Clark, Kris Kristofferson, Lyle Lovett, and Willie Nelson is not for the faint of heart. For his eighth studio release, Bruce joins forces with Rodney Crowell to co-produce a collection of new classics reflecting the love and respect he has for the traditions of country music. I love myspace! I moved to Northern Wyoming 5 years ago. I love the fact that I can get on here and listen to you like I was sittin amongst friends, having a cocktail at Cheatham Street. Not quite the same but at least I got this.

I just discovered Bruce's "Poor Man's Son" on iTunes, and man, it's a FANTASTIC track -- one of the best things he's ever recorded. Brother Charlie's version is good, but Bruce's is so much better. Bruce should've put it on one of his own albums. Everybody, go track this one down -- it's definitely worth hearing!
