  OMG. That brings back such good memories from "select choir" in high school. We were so good. I used to know all the songs by heart. Not any more. I love it.

  Carl Orff composed something powerful and beautiful. I hear Carmina Burana's influence left and right (I'm in a wind ensemble) in so many of the pieces we play.

  this music makes me cry ... it builds up some kind of unknown emotions in my heart and then then i cry in the end... i just cant believe myself i do that... :'-)

  I've performed Carmina Burana as well, in fact my conductor won a Grammy for his direction and recording of it - it is a piece of music so primal and powerful...it draws out your raw emotions and allows you to communicate so well with an audience. Love, hate, joy, sadness - it's all in there.

  you guys may think the guys a genius, and he is, but i've performed his music, not just once, but three whole times, you have no idea how powerful it is until you're actually singing it!
