Great band. They were always a few years ahead of everyone else, probably owing to their refusal to limit themselves. Until Your Heart Stops was light years beyond anyone else and still hasn't been matched 11 years later. Their evolution was seamless and organic, and each release was as good as the one that preceeded it.

This band has only two good albums. Beyond Hypothermia. Until Your Heart Stops. Everything else is terrible.

I was surprised about this band as I went to one of their live shows without hearing a whole lot of their material and I was f'n blown away at the sheer awesomeness and stage presence of these guys.

Yes, while the early stuff compared to the later stuff is quite different, but the styles still equally blow me away. And how f'ing cool is it, knowing that one band has done it all & covered all bases. I kinda wish there were more bands like Cave In... but then I'm kinda glad there isn't. I'm glad I've seen them live. Simply awesome.
