Ok, now I'm a quiet person, but I do like talking about myself...So I grew up in Louisiana playing piano and loving jazz and rag time (all spillovers from New Orleans.) But, after graduation it was time to decide on a "real" job, so I went to cooking school in Boston. After that I worked in a few restaurants and then decided to become a personal chef for a couple of years. But, I kept thinking about music. One day on the bus going to work I listened to Radohead's "How To Disappear Completely" and the line, "I"m not here, this isn't happening" just started to make me cry. It was a pivotal moment.

So, after that I decided to move back south where I could be near my family again and afford to pay rent while pursuing music. Here I am now in Houston and I've been pursuing music since January 2007. Exactly one year later I will release my first EP, Live Your Dreams with my band The Bends. It's my testament to follow your feelings and always do what you love no matter what other people tell you.
