Cheryl Allison has been singing and composing music for as long as she remembers. Having sung her first solo in church at the age of 5, she knew music gave her life meaning. She began playing piano at 5 years old, cello at 9 and voice lessons at 12. During college, she gained professional experience by performing in the local musical theatre productions in Dallas, Tx. and singing with the Fort Worth Opera.

Upon graduating with her Bachelors and Masters in Vocal Performance, she moved to NYC where she had the privilege of performing in Broadway and Regional Theatre productions for over 10 years.

She started a band during this time and performed in NYC at such notable clubs as The Bitter End, Mercury Lounge, The Bottom Line and La Bar Bat. She had the privilege of opening for the band Betty in NYC. She came in 2nd out of 500 bands in the WDRE-92.7 Rock to the Top Contest.

Since relocating to Los Angeles, she has sung as a session singer for numerous media companies including Disney Channel, BET, TLC, Columbia Pictures Home Video, Autonomy Post Production and FirstCom Music.. Most recently she has recorded and performed with world renowned violinist and Hollywood Bowl Concertmaster, Robin Olson.

Her original wedding song called "Love Divine - Our Wedding Day" has been licensed for the WNBC show called "I Do". It is currently being published through FirstCom Music, a division of Universal Music Group.

She is currently working on releasing an EP which she is recording at Studio Q. Robin Olson & Craig Lyons are producing, arranging, engineering and just about playing every instrument other than piano!
