Chris Zabriskie got his musical start in noise bands, but was forced into solo territory one night in 2001 when the rest of his band failed to show for a gig.
Zabriskie is known for releasing stark, confessional vocal albums (such as O Great Queen Electric, What Do You Have Waiting for Me?) alongside ambient, often piano-driven instrumental records, the most recent being 2009’s I Am a Man Who Will Fight for Your Honor.

@jvalent @bquain Yes, we need another karaoke night soon so I can actually try it for myself. Super fun, even with the annoying DJ.

Karaoke fail. Second time I've attempted it, only to wait hours while the DJ lets her friends sing two, three, four times. I tried.
