In the fall of 1996, the band Clay Sun Union was formed from US Airforce military members on the island of Okinawa, Japan. The group blended the power of Metallica, the intensity of Pearl Jam, and the cerebral imagery of Pink Floyd, into one of the island's most popular live acts. Their popularity grew to the point where they moved back to the United States in 1999 to continue their success. After headlining clubs while touring relentlessly, releasing a "number one" major radio song, and selling a full length album in 2002, the band's members have all gone their seperate ways to pursue thier own projects.
I love these guys!! Too bad they are not together any more. I tried buying one of their CD's a few years back when they were still together, but they didn't have any! Anyone out there have it, I will buy it or if you can tell me where to buy it, I will go there!! Please come back you guys are better than a lot of famous bands out there.
