  Somebody tell me what is going on with this band...seen them a couple of times aaaaages ago 2nd show just got me...then after Amber.......nothing I heard a rumour about a 4th album but time is ticking away. Shame really they have a very diverse sound pallete and great stage prescence! Anybody know where they are/what they are doing ?

  Overlooking this band is exactly what I did. I got some of their stuff just because they were from Brighton (my place of abode), then skimmed over their stuff and decided they were nothing special, unique or in possession of any sort of potency that convinced me I hadn't heard it all before. Though, once you give them the time, you see that although they don't have an element to their style that immediately jumps out, it's very hard to find one of their songs that does much wrong. Nicely sequenced, the lyrics aren't shakespeare, but they don't waste words, or put them in just because they sound catchy. Sometimes you think maybe their lyrics are prose dressed up as lyrics, something reminicient of . . . shit I've forgotten their names . . . that black british dude who has that album cover where he's got his eyes closed his headphones on and he looks like he's having a dump and also that Lily Allen style artist whose first name is Kate. But then you consider that their just very well placed and chosen. Having listened to the album Amber PROPERLY, it's going to be one of those timeless albums for me.

  constantly overlooked and undervalued. A fantastic band with three amazingly wide ranging albums. Y'gotta love'em. 'Almost The Same' is one of my records for a desert island stay. Domino have a great list of bands. A great label thatcompetes with 4AD any day of the week.

  i dont know whether they are good or not but "finally free" is far beyond awesome. i feel like flying while listening to it. i find myself making philosophy. i dont have any of their other songs but this is great. finally free...

  Wow. nobody knows this band
