Cocktail Honeys are three guys too old to care about TRL, and too young to teach college without getting themselves into trouble. They got together in 1998 in order to play loud, catchy, heartfelt music with no regard for trend or genre. They've toured our beautiful country a couple of times, and won now-defunct Florida music magazine Jam's Best Modern Rock Band award in 1999 without releasing a damn thing. Since then, the trio has put out two independent full-lengths, as well as a recent split CD with fellow Tampa Bay pigeonhole-defying outfit Closure on Germany's Beri Beri Records. They like beer, bartenders, the Afghan Whigs, angry soundmen, Quicksand, movies, sleep and drama, but will still be polite enough to impress your mothers.
