Hi All!!
Are you excited for filming Derek James' Smoky Light video on Tuesday July 8th?? We sure are! As you pull your wonderful and absurd costumes out of the closet and rally your friends, relatives and puppies to come along, here is some information you'll need to join us in the park for the day.
Location:
The filming of the dance scene will be most of the morning, and will shoot in the tobacco warehouse of Empire Fulton Ferry State Park (Google Map here). As you enter the park, the tobacco warehouse is the last building on the left. Later in the afternoon, we will be filming in the park itself, and then moving on to film in the streets of Dumbo. If you cannot find the filming at it's location during the day, please call Ashley at 917.376.2264.

Call times:
We know that you all lead busy lives, and while we'd like to have you to ourselves for the full day, we understand if you can only come for part of the filming process. Here are the call times for the different sections we're filming. Come by whenever you can!
10:30 am - Call for all extras
11:00 am - Begin filming
2:00 pm - Call for Charles O.
3:00 pm - Meal Break (Food will be provided!)
3:30 pm - Begin filming in the park
6:00 pm - Filming on the streets of Dumbo
8:00 pm - Wrap.

Costuming:
We want you to look as absurd as possible, so please come in your most outrageous outfit! We've listed below some of the ideas that we thought of, but if you have something else you'd like to wear, go for it!!

The Concept:
Derek is the hero of a small town, the residents of which gather around him as he goes off to fight an unknown villain who is threatening Dumbo - a villian who turns out to be a swing dance champion!

Hey guys!!
Top Right Corner Productions is shooting a music video for New York singer-songwriter Derek James and his song "Smoky Light" on TUESDAY, July 8th.
The idea is that Derek is the hero of this small town and he is going off to fight an unknown villain who is threatening Dumbo - who turns out to be a swing dance champion.
We need lots of extras to bring the town to life and we'd love to have you there, looking eccentric and dressed to the nines. Please wear wear your strangest and most unique outfit!! We're looking for extras of any age or background to be in the project so please feel free to bring your friends and relatives. Let us know if you have any questions, or just hit up Derek, Dan, or Ashley for more info.
We'll be filming most of the day in Dumbo, Brooklyn (on the water between the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges). Bring out your friends and their friends and be extras for us!
Meal, copy and credit will be provided for anyone who comes out.
