Gotta love the place. 30 degree every day, fantastic beaches, hottest people in Europe, best clubs in the world - how far wrong can you go, really. Place has changed a bit over the years especially since they changed the law that clubs can no longer play music between 6AM and 4PM. This put a bit of a damper on the beach club Bora Bora and its not that vibey anymore but Space is still going as strong as ever.
Went there on the Sunday and music was all nice and friendly but then got darker and darker as the night progressed, didn't realise how dark progresive could get - sounding like pots and pans being dropped with a few drills for good measure. Went there on the Tuesday and was totally different story. Tuesdays are Carl Cox night but he wasn't there that night (probably DJing in some far away place). Not a problem as Sasha and John Digweed played a legendary set. Good inspiration for making some new progressive tunes.
Another club to check out is called the Zoo project on Saturdays which was at the former zoo on the island. Lots of people dress up as animals and lots of leopard print. Off course if you do pop into the island the best clubs are still Amnesia and Pacha in my opinion.
Thats it for now. Getting excited about getting my new music out there next week. Finally releasing the 2009 mix of Bliss. If you like the original you are going to be blown away by the new version.
