Loud, fast, catchy, adrenaline fueled punk rock. That’s the only way to describe Dudley Dawson in one sentence. Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Dudley Dawson are a 4 piece punk rock band that are ready to kick ass and take names with their energy-filled live show and powerful new CD. "Zero Hour", the anxiously awaited full-length follow up to their 2003 self titled EP, is finally being unleashed on the masses in 2006, to considerable buzz. 2005 was a trying year for Dudley Dawson, but one that only made the band stronger than ever. After spending many long nights recording at Blackbox Studios and playing more shows in early 2005 than ever before, it was all systems go for the band. But then in fall 2005, as the album was nearing completion, disaster struck. The band’s rehearsal space was broken into and completely looted by some yellow-bellied bastards. It was a devastating loss and could have meant the end for many bands, but just as they did for the first 4 years of their existence, Dudley Dawson soldiered on. Over the course of the next few months, they concentrated on replacing their gear and keeping their focus. Anger bubbled beneath the surface but the band never let it consume them. Driven by a sheer passion for music, they were not ready to throw in the towel despite being given up for dead by some. Fast forward to Spring 2006. The new CD "Zero Hour" is complete, and Dudley Dawson are ready to take today's bland, homogenized music scene by storm. The disc consists of 10 passionate and memorable songs that will have you singing along with your fist thrust firmly in the air. Dudley Dawson are truly back from the dead, re-energized, re-focused, and ready to rock the house (and make short work of Jagrmeister supplies) in a town near you. For Dudley Dawson, the time is now. The Zero Hour has arrived.
