Damhnait Doyle
Damhnait Doyle is one of Canada’s most dynamic and entertaining performers. Damhnait has released six full length recordings, as a solo artist and with the award winning group, Shaye. Dav’s latest solo release, Lights Down Low (released February 2008) is a spectacular showcase masterpiece for this vocal powerhouse. Scoring two 2009 East Coast Music Award nominations (FACTOR Recording and Pop Recording of the Year), Lights Down Low, features a collection of beautifully random cover tunes that exhibits Doyle’s gorgeous vocal intensity. Paired with the musical ingenuity of her partner in the project, Danny Michel, they have created a disc that evokes feelings of tenderness and passion.
