  Dan's loss to the world was premature and unfortunate. Such a talented song writer, musician and story teller. His songs were back drops or sound tracks to my life from 15 years old upward. I wasn't always in tune with some of the stuff he output but he was one of my all time favorites. Sorely missed. I regret I never got to see him in concert.

  Debbie you do know Dan died in December of 2007 after a long battle w/prostate cancer, right? Sorta doubt he's monitoring these posts but he was/is one of my favorie songwriters along with James Taylor, Jackson Browne & David Wilcox.

  He was my fave during the 70's and early 80's.. In fact I was a groupie.... once a friend gave me a back stage pass at one of his concerts.. I was so excited about that, however he cut out right after the show, so I never did meet him.. HIs music really hit a core with my soul and he will be missed.,.passing on way too soon....
