Dan Walker is a writer, performer and producer of blues-based, folk, rock and alt-country music. Growing up, he was influenced by traditional songs of the Blue Ridge Mts., 'top 40' of the 60's and 70's and eventually influenced by the dominating alternative rock coming out of the Seatle music scene. Long before high school, he learned to play the piano, electric bass and acoustic guitar. By the time he was 16, Dan was a singer/songwriter and band leader performing for college crowds throughout Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Since then, The Dan Walker Band has toured 15 states from the Rocky Mts. to the Green and Whites of New England. Currently, Dan lives in New Hampshire and is planning the release of his 3rd CD "Beautiful" this spring 2009.
