    A word from Daniel!

    Hi everyone.... i am so happy to be gearing up for the new album. I
    have been so blessed to have worked with Linda Perry for the past
    seven months.  I had to make the first record in an apartment, and this one,
    well it sounds as though we made it under the stars.
    The album is called "Under the Radar"
    sort of describes me i think.... i feel like my entire life has been
    lived under the radar. I am really eager to get to see you all again.
    I really miss you. It's strange when i cut off and go and record
    again. I guess it took me awhile because i didn't know if i could
    handle the pressure again but then i think of all the amazing people
    i met around the world and got to hear their stories... so here are
    your stories, the ones that had a lasting impression on me. This
    album is for you... I hope you see yourselves in the songs, the words
    and the melodies. I know I do... I Am on my way to Taiwan tonight...
    I am looking forward to the shows and to release the album around the
    world. Best to you all, love Daniel. You've got the whole world around

    Daniel Powter in Taiwan now!

    1) On July 5th, 2008 will be the annual biggest Taiwanese Music event in Taipei - The Golden Melody Awards - Daniel Powter has been invited as the exclusive international performing artist to attend and perform the Award ceremony in Taiwan.

    Daniel will perform his brand new song Whole World Around from his forthcoming album "Under The Radar" as well as other hits.

    Ford already picked up "Whole World Around" for their latest commercial campaign in Taiwan and China and the song quickly became the #1 ringtone in Taiwan.

    2) Daniel will also appear at Jam Hsiao's concert on July 6th at the Fisherman's Wharf in Tamshui, Taiwan. Admission free!
