  David Allen Coe is the shit and Johnny Rebel is too, and who the hell cares what anybody has to say about him being racist. He aint racist, yes he may have sung racist songs, but that was him and how he was and i think he should be left alone about it. and another thing THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGIAN! HELL YA!!!!!

  don't worry, david allen coe didn't write that song, like people have been saying, it was johnny rebel who probably says the n-word in a very diminutive way in every one of his songs. that's awful, i agree. while i don't deny that coe probably has a racist point of view, i personally gravitate towards his music that doesn't express those particular views, because, aside from the racism, there's a notable level of musicianship and songwriting ability in his music.
