David Mead was born in Syossett, NY, in 1973. He has released five albums and one EP since his debut, "The Luxury of Time," in 1999. His latest album, "Almost and Always," will be released in two parts in December and January of 2008/9. In addition to composing and recording his own music, he is a member of the rock band ELLE MACHO (with Butterfly Boucher and Lindsay Jamieson). He has also contributed to several national periodicals, composed one-third of a musical and written many unpublishable short stories. He currently resides in Nashville, TN.
