    You are such an inspiring person! I remember so long ago when I heard "What was I thinkin'" on the radio on US99 and for the first time since I was about 3 I called in to vote for your song! I was amazed and now I sing harmony when the singer in my band plays it! Incredible!

    cmafest

    hope everyone that is coming to nashville for cmafest has a great trip. it really is a lot of fun and ive enjoyed being part of it for the last 5 years (and attending it myself for 8 years prior to getting a record deal!!!). the cma has done a great job with the event, and i hear about it from fans all over the country...fans excited to come to nashville and see the singers as well as friends they've made from previous trips. as i assume my fans know, i wont be there this year. ill be with my family back in phx, on a outdoor excursion/trip that ive been putting off for many years...my family means a lot to me and they have always been so supportive and understanding of my "schedule" (as if there's one!). it was time for me to step up...

    our recent "last call ball hits the road" promo tour was an effort to take our cma musicfest fan club party to as many backyards and living rooms as we could...i hope you all enjoyed reading my blogs at dierks.com on that as much as i enjoyed writing them. we will be back to cmafest next year with a huge party...i promise!!!

    i heard some of you all were planning on having a party still without me (plaid optional)..! i love it...!
