Discorockers were formed in 2003 when Viktoria Winge met Anton Jawdokimov in London. After spending about 6 months writing songs they created a liveset consisting of 3 members to showcase their work. The response to the show was good and they found themselves being booked at better and better venues in London and the U.K. They have played at Glastonbury music festival three times and have done gigs at ‘Cargo’ in London a few times as well and offers for promotion seemed to be coming in at different angles. At this time the Lead singer, Viktoria Winge had received a place at Statens teaterhoyskole in Oslo and had to leave the world of Discorockers to attend her classes, inevitably this slowed down their progress but didn’t stop it, 2 members, Anton Jawdokimov and Viktoria Winge kept on developing their sound and experimentation in music production and it was during this time that the members were able to grow and develop individually while still developing Discorockers within a studio environment. Now, after Viktorias success in two Norwegian feature films and Antons time writing music for T.V. film and theatre, The members of Discorockers want to take the steps to record and finish production on a number of new tracks, and promote and showcase their work online bollox
