Much of DISOWN's music gravitates towards the tragedy of life and the failure of expectations, focusing mostly on the fundamentals of a decaying social structure that is overwhelmed and unable to cope with the rapid advancements of today's digital world. With a style all of their own, DISOWN blends HardRock/Metal with Industrial/Techno in a manner that is unlike anything ever heard before by their predecessors such as Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westward, or Orgy. Their music is intelligently woven in such a sense that it is elegant yet unrefined, enlightening but elusive, and seductive all the while repulsive. Loved or hated, DISOWN's music can be described as creative, artistic expression at its darkest moment in life. With out a doubt, a must see band.
