From Ella Fitzgerald to Nat King Cole, from Ol' Blue Eyes himself to (one of my personal favorites) Lou Reed et al., all these fine talents have styles as unique as fingerprints. But Django's guitar transcends all of it. His groove is flawless, never overdone or out-of-place. Every time he fingers meet the strings, it is a driven sound, as if he already calculated its impact before the sound is made. And as soon as you we get it, he is already too far ahead. "
